Tol Barad

It's very hard to take Tol Barad seriously. If I had to guess, I'd say that the game designers needed a place to put the PvP dailies and ran out of time before they could come up with something more interesting.

The battle suffers from a lack of focus. Three widely spaced forts must be captured/defended, so players constantly rush back and forth and around and around. Three towers can be destroyed to extend the time of the game, but since the defenders cannot defend these towers AND their forts, the towers always go down.

The end result is very confusing, and ultimately boring.

(I played in TB one night with a total of seven other people ... four on each side ... the experience simply cannot be described in words.)
